Guilford County seeks public comment on comprehensive plan, budget

The Guilford County Planning Board will host a special meeting for the presentation of its updated comprehensive plan on Wednesday.

The plan includes goals for attainable housing, future land use framework, economic initiatives and more, and can be found on the Guilford County website. 

Residents are invited to give feedback on the plan during the public hearing portion of the meeting, which will take place inside the Old Guilford County Courthouse.

Officials are also looking for comments on the county’s proposed budget. 

A town hall that was originally scheduled to take place last month at Claxton Elementary has been rescheduled for Monday, April 28th.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions about the budget to a pre-event survey available online.
